Ruined Films at Hoth Con (and moving towards the New Year!)

The good, the bad and the brute representing Ruined Films in Helsinki's Hoth Con.

The last few weeks approaching the Holidays have been quite active and we've been able to spread the message of The Twelve Parsec Stare in several different sources. The release of the anticipated The Force Awakens has sparked the interest of many different media agencies such as Helsingin Sanomat and Yle, who were interested in hearing what we had to say about the Episode VII. Our Hoth Con crew was also featured in AlfaTV's Filminurkka (Film Corner) number 150. In addition, Hese visited Radio Rock's morning show last week, spreading some Star Wars gospel on air!

Whereas most of the promotional work has been focused on our Star Wars short film (as the time is definitely right!) the creative planning for the next project keeps on grinding. We are currently working on a script for a proof of concept piece that we're hoping to take forward with a number of associates. This (in addition to some promotional work and a music video commission) will be our top priority moving to 2016. We're excited to start the new year!

Our Hoth Con display included a number of screen-used props from The Twelve Parsec Stare. We thought it would be interesting for the convention visitors to see some of our hand-crafted items and it really did spark a few conversations. On the two screens we displayed our Making Of series and some still pictures shot on the location by Marko Saari.

The Raunio brotherhood gave out an interview for Hesari...

...and Boba provided the mandatory fan service. Good times!
